Norridgewock – Donald Howard Luce, 89, passed away Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at home with family by his side. Donald was born in Milford on August 14, 1934, the son of Ivy Bell (Bishop) and C. Harold Luce. He enlisted in the US Army after high school. On March 9, 1957, Donald married Joan Grant. Upon his honorable discharge he went to work for Central Maine Power Company, where he retired after 35 years. Donald enjoyed carpentry, DIY projects, and most of all spending time with his family. He was predeceased by both his parents, wife Joan Grant Luce, and infant daughter Kathleen Luce. Donald is survived by his children Pamela Luce with partner Scott Hodgdon, Paul Michael Luce, and Penny Fortin with husband Steve; grandchildren Jody Murray with husband Justin, Amber Oberle, Sara Oberle, and Jillian Roy; great-grandchildren Isa Oberle, Lucas Andrews, Charlotte Murray, Adeline Murray, Daniel Oberle, and Trenton Roy. Per Donald's request there will be a graveside service in the spring. The family would like to thank Maine General Hospice, along with a special thank you to his nurse Brandy, and his girl Heather.
