Rockland – Dianne Linda Couture, 77, passed away on December 25, 2023. She was born in Augusta, Maine to Raymond and Angenette (Cox) Couture. Dianne graduated from Winslow High School.

Throughout her life she worked for various doctors as a medical assistant. Her true love was the ocean and Penobscot Bay that brought her to Rockland where she made many friends and was involved with a variety of community events.

Dianne leaves behind six siblings; Kerry (Dorothy) of Rifle, Colorado, Gregory (Mary Jane) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Carol and Gayle Couture of Augusta, Maine, Jayne (Mark) Champagne of Waterville, Maine, and Elizabeth (Bruce) Stetson of Waterville, Maine, many nieces and nephews that she adored, as well as several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Notre Dame Church in Waterville on Friday, May 24th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside memorial at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton, Maine.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Glenridge Long Term Care in Augusta for the care Dianne received during her stay.
