David Thebarge, 75, of Skowhegan passed away peacefully at Cedar Ridge Center on June 2, 2024, after a long illness. David was born in Skowhegan on February 28, 1949, and was a graduate of Skowhegan High School. He worked for many years at Norrwock Shoe and New Balance.

David was an avid reader and especially liked science fiction novels. He was also a fan of local and college sports. He especially enjoyed professional wrestling and attended many matches with his brother John.

He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Rose Thebarge and his brother Michael Thebarge.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Jim and Janet Thebarge and George and Joyce Thebarge, sister-in-law Linda Thebarge; brother John Thebarge; nieces Jennifer Frederick, Erica Gregory, Gena Lamontagne and Alissa Alimohammed; nephew Jerrod Thebarge; and many cousins.

David requested no services. The family will gather later to remember him.
