Daniel "Danny" Franklin Weatherbee, 69, of Skowhegan, Maine, passed away on November 25, 2025. Bron on June 13, 1956, in Lincoln, he was the beloved son of Marilyn Sawyer Weatherbee and his stepfather, Searle A. Weatherbee, both of whom preceded him in death. Danny graduated from Bangor Christian School in Bangor, Maine, and later attended Headhunter School of Hair Design in Portland. A talented and dedicated stylist, he owned and operated several successful hair salons in Portland, Waterville and Skowhegan, Maine. His creativity and skill left a lasting impression on his clients and community. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Danny had a zest for life. He loved treasure hunting with his cousins Donny Cummings and cherished time spent with his cousins Lynda Garnett, Deb Hitchorn, Sandra Cummings, Patricia Thornton, and his Aunt Rena. He held a special place in his heart for his Aunt Agatha Cummings, whom he lovingly considered his mom. Danny's musical talent was remarkable – he was an accomplished pianist and delighted family and friends with his accordion performances. His playful, energetic personality brought joy to those around him, and his greatest love was reserved for his cherished fur babies. He is survived by his sisters, Carmen Currier of Lexington, North Carolina, and Laura Weatherbee of Bangor; and two nephews, Derick Call of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Craig Call of Denver, Colorado. A memorial service will be held in Maine in the spring; details will be announced at a later date.
