On July 2, 2026 Daniel D. Priest passed away at the age of 68. Daniel was born to William and Mary Priest on April 8, 1958. He is survived by his wife Gail, his children Elizabeth and Eric, his grandchildren Olivia, Isabelle, Amelia, Hannah, William, Claire, Zayne and his great grandson Luke Daniel. He is also survived by his mother Mary, his sister Edie, his brother Peter and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father William. 

Danny was a man whose life was defined by his strong faith and his love for his family. He recently celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife Gail. They married in 1975 and loved each other deeply and raised their family with that love. 

He was close to his children and grandchildren often giving them rides on his “six wheeler” swimming at the brook and watching basketball games. He was funny, kind, generous and loyal. The impact he had on so many lives was great. To his family he was a hero, a guide, a protector and our biggest fan. Truly an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be so missed by all who loved him. 

The family would like to thank everyone at RFGH oncology. They provided a bright light in a difficult time. Per Danny’s wishes there will be no services.
