Skowhegan / Jackman – Dana Lee Holden, 71, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She succumbed to her failing health after a stroke last year.
Dana was born in Amesbury, Mass. on April 30th, 1954, daughter to Wallace and Janice Holden. She grew up in Jackman and lived most of her adult life in Northern California. She came back to Maine five years ago during Covid and was happy to be back home, although she missed her family in California dearly.
She is survived by her son, Elijah Holden; grandchildren Christopher, Skylar, Zarianna, Alena, Levi, Jeremiah, and Zachariah; and great-grandchildren Anthony and Sophia.
Dana was predeceased by her parents Wallace and Janice Holden, sister Glenice, and brother-in-law Clifton Fournier.
She is survived by her son, Elijah Holden; grandchildren Christopher, Skylar, Zarianna, Alena, Levi, Jeremiah, and Zachariah; great-grandchildren Anthony and Sophia; brother Richard Holden, sisters Mary McAdams and Vicki Kunz; and also, her dear nephews Derek and Noah Kunz.
A memorial service will be held in August at a family gathering in Long Pond, Maine.
