Winslow – Christine L. Lambert, 78, passed away in the early hours of October 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born to the late Victor M. and Etta M. (Knowles) Clark on October 19, 1945, in Waterville. She was the fourth out of five children and grew up in Oakland. She graduated from Williams High School, class of 1964. Christine worked more than thirty years in Customer Service, retiring from K-Mart in the early 2000's.
Shortly after graduating high school Christine married Roger Lambert in July of 1964. They just recently celebrated 60 years of marriage together. After twelve years of marriage, they welcomed their first son Benjamin, the following year, another son, Todd. Christine was a dedicated mother to her boys. She treasured her children and embraced every moment and milestone with them. She especially loved her role as Grammy to her four grandsons – Jordan, Jared, Cole, and Spencer. She truly was amazing at both roles.
Christine loved to read, crochet, play Bingo, and in her younger years, enjoyed "girl's trips" out of state to play Bingo and Casino games.
She was predeceased by her parents Etta and Victor Clark, brother Eddie Clark, sister Patty Nason, and her very special mother-in-law Carrie Lambert.
Christine leaves behind a family that loved her beyond words, including her husband Roger; sons Benjamin with his wife Hillary and Todd with his wife Sue; her four grandchildren Jordan with his wife Lacey, Jared, Cole, and Spencer with his wife Hannah; her cousin and best friend/travel partner June Vigue; her sister/best friend Geraldine Clark; her brother Victor "Whitey" Clark; sister-in-law Jenny DiBiase; and brothers-in-law Curt and Mike Lambert.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hillary for the care and love she provided to Christine in the last two years of her life.
