It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chad C. Chalmers on November 7th, 2025, after an unforeseen and unexpected health condition.

Chad is survived by his wife Caryn Chalmers, stepson, Logan, daughter-in-law, Emma and grandson Sterling. His mother, Maryanne Viezie; father, Ron Chalmers, sisters; Mel and Amanda, and brother, Wes. He also had aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, cousins, and a lot of great friends; including Chad's lifelong best friend Rick & his wife, Heather.

Chad attended Lawrence High School in Fairfield and was currently employed as a Foreman at N.S. Giles.

Chad lived life in the moment and to the fullest; he enjoyed vacationing in St. John, USVI, camping on the Saco River, going to concerts, golfing with father-in-law & friends, and most of all enjoyed spending time relaxing in the comforts of his own home in Augusta that he shared with his wife, Caryn and their 2 cats; Milo and Cayden.

There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends to honor and remember; a tremendous loss of an awesome man that was taken from us too soon.

The Celebration of Life will be held at the Poulin-Turner Union Hall on Route 201 in Skowhegan on January 31st from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
