CAROL GUERTIN LOWELL 1949 – 2013 Madison Carol Guertin Lowell passed away at home at the age of 64, on November 24, 2013 after a great life with her husband and four sons. Born Carol Lee Mary Marcelle Guertin in Manchester, NH on March 31, 1949. Carol was raised in Mount Vernon, NH and Milford, NH, the daughter of Louis and Marcelle (Cloutier) Guertin. Carol was active in the church kitchen ministry for Crossroads Bible Church where she regularly attended services. She was extremely active in establishing and maintaining a family readiness network with the United States Marine Corps, while her two sons were deployed. Carol took great pride in and selflessly worked in many volunteer endeavors within her community. She was proud of her sewing and cooked selflessly. She donated her time and money to the Skowhegan Football Team cooking many meals after games and practices. Carol dedicated her life to caring for her family friends and community, which brought her the most joy. She was a life-long lover of music and a member of the Glee Club at her Mount St. Mary Seminary where she graduated school from in 1967. She was a soloist at Crossroads Bible Church. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Charles Lowell of Madison, ME, son, Adam Lowell and his wife Tracey and granddaughters Haley and Sarah of Oakland, ME, son, Brett Lowell and his wife Stephannie of Skowhegan, granddaughter, Katarina of Mishawaka, IN, son Craig Lowell and his wife Megan of Windham, ME, and son, Kurt Fegan of Yarmouth, ME, sisters, Jeanne Guertin Potoff of CT, Paula Goduti of NH, and Denise Jackson of NH, a sister-in-law, Lee Gurtner of Nevada City, CA, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Michael and Alan Guertin.
