Skowhegan - Brian Alan Mitchell, 68, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Nov 21, 2023. Brian was born in Skowhegan. He married his High School sweetheart Ellen (Dickey) Mitchell who he had a great love for, along with his children, and many friends and relatives. Brian loved to golf, fish, and hunt with many of his cronies, all while never having a piece of hair out of place. He is predeceased by his mother June Mitchell, brother and sister-in-law Wayne (Skip) and Shirley Hodgdon, sister Terry Schiff, and brothers-in-law Joe Jackson and Nicol Tifft. Brian leaves behind his wife of 48 years Ellen, sons Joshua with wife Emily Mitchell and Jeremy with wife Megan Mitchell, and grandchildren who he adored; Carter, Colbey, Carson, Cade, Macyn, and Maya. He also leaves his sister Louise with her husband Dave Johnson, brother Jay with his wife Wendy Mitchell, sisters in law Debbie Jackson and Pamela Tifft, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Lonnie and Jody Dickey, as well as many nieces, nephews, and awesome friends. Per his request there will be no services. Further date to be determined for a celebration of life.
