Hartland – Betty Jean Elliott, 64, went to be with her soul mate on December 9, 2024, at Sanfield Rehabilitation and Living Center. Betty was born on July 26, 1960, in Hartland, daughter of Rex Sr. and Theresa Smith. Betty loved reading, crocheting, bowling, BINGO, and spending time with her family. She was the best mother, grandmother, and friend anyone could ask for. She will always be missed and never forgotten. She was predeceased by her husband Clyde "Butch" Elliott Jr.; both her parents; and her in-laws, Clyde Sr., and Beverly Elliott. Betty is survived by her children, Danielle Gould with her husband Maurice, Donna Jacques with her husband Mark, Debra Elliott with her wife Jennifer, Destiny Herrera, and Benjamin Elliott with his significant other Tina; her grandchildren, Taylor, Wyntyr, Colby, Kaylee, Cameron, and Mariah; her sisters, Brenda Shaw with her husband Steve, Debra Smith, Wanda Smith with her husband Mark. Her brother, Rex Smith, Jr. with his wife Nancy; her sisters-in-law, Donna Thayer with her husband Raymond, and Una Whalen with her husband Randy; as well as several nieces and nephews. Thank you to Sanfield Rehabilitation for all the wonderful care they provided for mom in the last four years. Thank you to hospice for providing care through her last days.
