Pittsfield - Belinda Weese, 70, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta after a lengthy illness.

Belinda was the wife of the late David Weese (Athens) and mother to the late Nikki Brooks (Athens).

She is survived by her sisters Melissa Rines (Clinton) and Maggie Norris (Stetson), a brother Neal Kaherl (Florida), her sons Vassar Brooks (Solon) and Travis Brooks (Pittsfield), stepsons Danny Weese, Dwight Weese and Dwayne Weese all of Athens, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Belinda worked for many years at Solon Manufacturing. She loved to cook and made the best yeast rolls you could ever eat. Belinda loved her animals very much and gardening.

We are planning her celebration of life to be held on July 19, 2025. We will let everyone know the details in the near future.
