ATHENS—Barbara Marion Flanders, 76, died September 21, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1945 in Skowhegan, a daughter of Allie and Shirley (Murray) Flanders. Barbara was a very kind and sweet woman. She enjoyed making crafts and attending craft fairs. She was a hardworking woman, and was employed by Linkletter's, Foster Slaughter Shop, Apple Orchard in Madison, and Creative Apparel. She is survived by two sons Steven Corson and Brain Flanders; four grandchildren; three siblings Marita Marble, Roy Flanders, and Lemont Flanders. She was predeceased by son Paul Corson, daughter Tina Kittredge; brothers Raymond Flanders and Arthur Flanders and sister Alverna Murray.
