Obituary

North Anson – Anthony W. Stark Sr., 54, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan, Maine with family by his side. He was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, on April 29, 1969, to Jose Jimenez and Charlene (Holmes) Jimenez. He spent most of his time in Massachusetts before going to Florida and then returning to Maine to stay. He loved being a heavy equipment operator with road crews in his younger days, but he was a jack of all trades with his current job as a dedicated gas attendant at Griswolds. A job he really loved. His life-long goal of joining United Bikers of Maine was accomplished in 2022. He made his passions of motorcycles, Red Sox, and Celtics known to everyone he talked to. Every summer he looked forward to putting many miles on his bike with close friends for some "throttle therapy". His love to make people around him smile and feel happy was a trait that came naturally to him. His one-of-a-kind optimistic charming personality, his warming smile, his endless energy and his many culinary creations made many want to be around him. He was predeceased by his parents, Jose and Charlene (Holmes) Jimenez. He is survived by his adoring fiancé Chrissy Sites, "my partner in crime and brother" Robert Taber, his children; Charlene, Anthony Jr., Joseph, Ian, and Alicia, his sisters; Kathy (Perkins) Arnold, Theresa Jimenez, brother Jose Jiminez, Grandchild Bailey, many close friends, and his four-legged fur baby 9-year-old dog Jackson. His family and friends will honor Tony's memory with a Celebration of Life to be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Griswolds store and diner located at 112 South Maine Street, Solon, Maine. The family would like to thank Dan and Scott's Cremation in Skowhegan. They would also like to thank Griswolds in Solon for hosting and providing the venue for his Celebration of Life. (It will be an outdoor event, so attire is casual, comfy, and non-formal as Tony liked to be.) One of his saddlebags will be set up for keepsakes, mementos, and memories. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Somerset Humane Society in Skowhegan or to the Griswolds for the family.
