Obituary

Ann-Marie Sirois, 66, of Skowhegan, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2026, wrapped in the arms of her loved ones.

Ann was born on September 11, 1960, in Skowhegan, Maine. She devoted her life to caring for her five children and grandchildren and was affectionately known to many as “Ma” and “Nanny.” The proud matriarch of her family, Ann loved her family and friends unconditionally and never hesitated to help those she loved. Her devotion was evident not only in life’s big moments, but also in the small, quiet ways she cared for others. Ann cherished large family dinners and gatherings, her dogs, and the color Tweety Bird yellow. She always kept extra ice cream in the freezer for her grandchildren and held a special place in her heart for ice-cold Dr Pepper. Each October brought her favorite holiday, filled with spooky decorations, trick-or-treaters, Mumma Mack’s haunted houses, and treasured memories with those she loved.

Ann is survived by her children, Daisy Mack, April Mack, Jimmy Mack, Jerry Mack, and Beth Mack; her grandchildren, Skye Mack, Kara Rawlings, Justin Mack, Jada Mack, Russell Mack, Kayden Mack, Ronan Mack, Isaac Mack, Desiree Avery, Mickey Smith, Porter Mack, Kale Mack, and Lila Mack; her five great-grandchildren, Lila, Oakley, Kevin, Xavier, and Iverson; and her siblings, Allen Davis, Steve Davis, and Donna Gilman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by the many lifelong friends she made, including two of her best friends, Rose and Phil. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kevin Sirois.

Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Whenever they gather, laugh, and love one another, a piece of Ann will be present—a testament to the lasting impact she had on their lives.
