Amy Banasiak-Hurley, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Amy was born on December 19, 1960, in Hampden, Maine. She married Ricky F. Hurley on July 7, 2004, in Polkton, North Carolina. Amy had grit and determination, she taught her children to take life by the horns and do great things. Even though she was short in stature she made up for it with spunk and tenacity. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, camping, and spending time learning more about her Penobscot heritage. She also enjoyed spending time with her faithful bird Pepe and her sidekick dog Addy. Amy had love for everyone and everything living. She will be loved and remembered by everyone she encountered. We love you Amy, may you rest in peace. Amy is survived by her mother Dawn Minoty-Corbett of Oakland, Maine; husband Rick; three sisters Tracy Holloway of Milton, Florida, Karen Hamlin of Readfield Maine and Judy Neptune of Readfield, Maine; two brothers "Bub" Larrie Minoty of Mount Vernon, Maine and Eric Blanchette of Millinocket; her children: Charles of Albemarle, North Carolina, Chris and Crystal of Albermarle, North Carolina, Nickolas and Lauren of El Paso, Texas, and Amy Nicole of North Carolina; and grandbabies all over the United States. In lieu of services we ask you to come celebrate her life with us July 6th, 2025, between 12:00pm and 6:00pm at H&H Family Farm located at 490 Gorden Road in Readfield, Maine.
