Allen E. Beane, 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of his children. Allen was born on February 2, 1945, in Skowhegan. He found immense joy in the simple things, hunting, sharing stories, and spending time with his family, creating cherished memories that will live on for generations. His sense of humor, quick wit, and warm smile brightened every room, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who knew him. Allen was a devoted husband to his late wife, Pamela M. Beane, with whom he shared fifty-eight wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family. A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Allen's kindness and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his mother Jesse Beane, brothers Bobby Beane, Nelson Beane, and Larry Beane, and his late grandson Stephen Beane. Allen is survived by his loving children: Tracey Steward, Tammy Methot and her husband Richard Methot, Belinda York and her husband Brian York, and Bubba Beane and his wife Stacy Beane. He was a proud grandfather to eight beautiful grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to thirty-two cherished great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bruce Pinkham and Bruce's partner Cheryl Reed, as well as his sister-in-law Gloria Beane and many nieces and nephews. Allen's presence was a gift to those around him-his laughter, generosity, and steadfast love will be deeply missed but forever treasured. His family finds comfort knowing he is now reunited with his soul mate Pamela, watching over them with love.
